The CPUs in the NAS's don't seem to be very high powered, and they also tend not to have a lot of RAM. The second question is whether either has the capability of streaming HD or UHD to my TV and transcoding an HD or SD signal to my phone at the same time. Step 1: To start Watch Together, select a movie or show you want to watch in your Plex app, and then select the Three dots / more button, followed by Watch Together. Also, when I go directly from playing one video to the next when the drive should not be spinning down, it takes the same amount of delay for the video to start. Once you download our free and easy-to-use software where you store your files (usually a computer or external hard drive), it takes care of the rest. For years I have been using my desktop PC as my PLEX server.
